The Sault Ste. Marie Physician Recruitment & Retention Committee was formed in
2002 as a result of concern for the provision of quality healthcare to the
citizens of Sault Ste. Marie. |

The Committee is comprised of a dedicated group of individuals who are genuinely
interested in supporting both the recruitment of physicians and retention of our
current physicians.
Membership of the Committee includes representation
from the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Sault Area Hospital, Algoma District Medical
Group, Group Health Association and the Chamber of Commerce.
Please come to visit us in the Sault! Let us
personally take you around and show you the sights first hand. You will then be
able to experience the benefits of living in a mid-sized city that is
well-developed and sits at the centre of the Great Lakes, in the heart of
