Marie. Aside from the offices located in the Group Health Centre, there are several other doctors’ buildings located around the community that also have quick access to diagnostic tests and services. The Medical Centre Building is located directly across the street from the Sault Area Hospital and two other doctors’ buildings  are located within the hospital block. Several blocks west of the hospital site is another doctors’ building. Marie as one of the safest places to live in North America according to a report by CityNews.ca The Sault made the list along with only two other Canadian cities, Calgary and Brampton designated as an International Safe Community. The official announcement will be made on September 22 by World Health Organization (WHO) Sault Ste. Marie made the top 10 overall in North America.
